Lincolnshire born Joanne King settled
in Australia in 1968. In Nobody Will
Ever Believe You, she attempts to give
the reader an insight into the psychic
nature of our being.
The underlying purpose of her book
is the account of the part that certain
people who dwell in the spirit realms of
existence have played throughout her life.
It all started in England when as a young girl, she
experienced the materialisation of her brother’s presence
after he had drowned and was lost in a sea storm.
Many years of involvement with psychic phenomena are
inevitably intertwined with events in her life. From having
her two children abducted to Ireland by an estranged
husband, to surviving a fire aboard an ocean liner, to cups
that leap unexpectedly off their saucers and smash on the
floor, a nocturnal sharing of a bed with an unexplained
presence, and the cloak and dagger plans to get her
children back to Australia, are some of the experiences she
confides.
Some time after returning from New York, where she
worked for three and a half years, Joanne became publicly
engaged as a medium, and with her sister, Kate, became a
well respected speaker in psychic circles.
For a gripping encounter of the psychic kind, this book will
certainly keep you intrigued.
